What hardware do I need?
Apple compatibility is shown on the App Store. The current listing requires macOS 14 on Apple M1 or later, iOS 18, or iPadOS 18. For Windows, check the current Microsoft Store requirements. Every model also needs enough memory and storage; compatible models are listed in Pepper.
Is a model included in the initial download?
AI models are downloaded separately. Allow disk space and an internet connection for the initial model download. Select a model your device supports.
Does everything work without internet?
Supported AI inference runs on your device. Model downloads, email provider connections, retrieving web pages, purchases and subscription checks can require internet. Offline availability depends on setup and valid access.
Does Pepper send email for me?
Review and edit generated drafts. Send messages through your own email provider. Pepper’s advertised Apple release does not automatically send your email.
What does Unlimited mean?
Unlimited local AI use with an active subscription. Models and performance depend on your device.
What are the prices and trials?
See current Store prices and billing terms before purchasing. Windows offers a 72-hour local evaluation; Microsoft Store subscriptions add no extra trial. Apple offers must be checked separately in the app or Store.
Can I rely on every AI answer?
Transcripts, summaries and suggested actions can contain errors. Review important details against the original source before relying on them.
Can I use Pepper for dictation and speech to text?
Pepper can transcribe recorded spoken notes and meetings, then help summarize the text. Review transcript accuracy before using it. Recording and transcription options depend on your platform and setup.
