Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

NeuraCore Technologies Inc. (“NeuraCore,” “we,” “us”) develops Pepper OfflineAI, Libri Audiobooks (formerly Narratorio) and CumuloSync. This policy describes how information is handled through these products, our website and our support communications. Features and availability differ by platform and version; descriptions of optional features apply only where those features are available.

Contact us about privacy at admin@neuracoretech.com or through our Contact page. NeuraCore is responsible for personal information it processes for its own purposes. Connected services may process information independently under their own policies; using a service provider does not remove our responsibilities for processing carried out on our behalf.

2. Privacy in brief

Pepper: AI inference runs on your device. Connecting email, downloading resources, opening websites, syncing or exporting can involve network services.
Libri: Offline voices read on your device. Online voices require transmitting narration text for online speech generation.
CumuloSync: Cloud file actions communicate with the storage services you authorize.
Website and support: We receive information you send us; our hosting provider also handles website visitor information.

3. Pepper OfflineAI

Pepper uses local AI models and supported on-device Apple AI capabilities to generate chat responses, email drafts, summaries and other assistant outputs. NeuraCore does not receive your prompts, emails, documents, transcripts, notes, tasks or memories for cloud AI inference. We do not use that local content to train shared AI models.

Pepper accesses content you enter, import, select or authorize, such as email messages, files, saved web pages, recordings and transcripts. Local histories, summaries and memories are handled by the app to provide the features you use. Microphone, file, calendar and other protected-resource access depends on applicable device permissions. Obtain the permissions or consent required before recording other people or processing their information.

If you connect Gmail, Outlook or another supported email service, the app communicates with that service to obtain authorized messages and account information. Those providers receive authentication requests and relevant service traffic. Pepper drafts emails for your review; it does not automatically send them. You can revoke access through your email provider’s security settings. Revoking access does not necessarily delete previously saved local messages or drafts.

Information accessed through Google Workspace APIs is used for the user-facing features you authorize. It is not used for advertising, sold to data brokers or used to train general-purpose AI models. Our use and transfer of information received from these APIs must comply with the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including its Limited Use restrictions.

Downloading models or other resources, loading a web page and connecting email require network requests. The destination service or download host receives connection information such as an IP address and the resource requested. These requests are separate from running AI inference locally. An exported PDF, Word document or other shared output is handled by the destination you choose.

4. Libri Audiobooks

Libri turns books, documents and other supported text into spoken audio. Its offline text-to-speech engine and downloaded voices generate speech on your device; offline narration does not require sending the narration text to an online voice service.

Online voices are a separate feature. NeuraCore Technologies provides Libri’s online voices through its own GPU-powered API server. When you choose an online voice, the text selected for narration is transmitted to this service to generate speech. Requests also contain relevant voice and language settings and may involve connection or service metadata. Online narration therefore does not have the same on-device privacy characteristics as offline narration. Use offline voices if you do not want narration text sent to our online speech service.

Loading a URL, browsing an online book catalog, downloading a book or voice resource, and syncing between devices also involve the relevant website, catalog, download or sync service. If a supported sync feature is active, library information and settings may be stored through that service. An offline voice selection does not disable these separate network features.

NeuraCore is responsible for the information processed by its online voice service. The purposes, retention approach and privacy-request procedures described below apply to information held by NeuraCore. 5. CumuloSync

CumuloSync accesses the local files and cloud storage accounts you authorize, including supported Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud Drive connections. Information handled for file management can include file contents, names, folder paths, sizes and other metadata.

Browsing, uploading, downloading, renaming, sharing and deleting cloud files communicate with the relevant storage provider. NeuraCore does not maintain a separate server repository of your files through CumuloSync. Authentication information is used to authorize the connection; access tokens must be presented to the authorized provider when making requests. We do not claim that every connection uses the same authentication method.

You can revoke an app connection through the provider’s account settings. Removing a connection does not itself delete cloud files or previously downloaded copies. Actions involving shared links or file transfers may expose information to recipients or destinations you choose. The storage provider’s privacy and retention terms also apply to its handling of your account and files.

6. Information received by NeuraCore and our service providers

Support and business inquiries. If you contact us, we receive your email address, the name you provide, your message and any attachments or technical details you include. We use them to respond, troubleshoot, administer our relationship and maintain necessary records. Please remove confidential information from screenshots and do not send passwords, verification codes or payment-card details.

Purchases and subscriptions. Apple, Microsoft or Google handles purchases made through its Store. An app may receive transaction, entitlement or subscription-status information to validate access and restore purchases. Store reports and information you provide in a support request may also be available to us. We do not receive your full payment-card number from a Store purchase.

Diagnostics. App stores or operating-system services may make crash, performance or usage reports available according to their settings. Libri’s current Apple privacy disclosure identifies device identifiers and product-interaction information used for analytics and described as not linked to identity. “Not linked” does not mean every diagnostic record is anonymous. Reporting varies by app and platform. Review the relevant Store privacy disclosures and device settings; this policy does not assert that every app collects the same diagnostics.

Website. Our website is hosted by WordPress.com/Automattic. Hosting and enabled website services may process IP addresses, browser and device information, access times, pages requested, referrals and interactions. Cookies or similar technologies can support site operation, security and enabled statistics. Read Automattic’s visitor privacy notice and cookie policy. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although some site functions may then be limited.

7. Purposes and disclosures

We use information received by NeuraCore to provide requested services and support, operate and protect our website, investigate technical issues, administer subscriptions where applicable, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not disclose your local Pepper content or offline Libri narration text for targeted advertising.

Information we actually hold may be disclosed to service providers needed for hosting, communications, support or other described operations; when you direct us to share it; to comply with a valid legal requirement; or where necessary to protect rights, safety or security. In a corporate transaction, applicable information may be transferred subject to legal requirements and appropriate privacy protections. Restrictions on Google user data continue to apply, including its more specific transfer and consent requirements.

A company transaction or legal request does not give us access to content that we do not possess. Introducing new advertising pixels, remarketing, analytics or other material data uses requires reviewing this policy and implementing any notices, consent or opt-out controls required before deployment.

8. Retention, deletion and your controls

Local content is retained according to the app features you use and your deletion choices. Use available in-app controls to remove saved items or clear data. Copies in exports, backups, synced storage, email accounts or recipients’ systems may remain and need separate deletion. Disconnecting a provider, uninstalling an app and cancelling a subscription are different actions; none should be assumed to erase all such copies.

For information held by NeuraCore, our retention policy is to keep it only as long as needed for the stated purpose, including resolving support requests, maintaining necessary business records, meeting applicable recordkeeping requirements and handling legal claims. Retention is assessed by the type and sensitivity of the information, the ongoing need for it and applicable legal requirements. When no longer needed, it is deleted or appropriately de-identified. Provider-held data is also subject to the applicable provider’s retention and deletion terms.

You can request access, correction or deletion of information held by NeuraCore by emailing admin@neuracoretech.com. Identify the product and request, but do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents. We may request proportionate information to verify your authority. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase content held solely on your device or in an independent provider account.

9. Privacy rights and international processing

Depending on your location and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, obtain a copy of, correct or delete personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. California residents may also have applicable rights concerning sensitive personal information and authorized agents. We will handle eligible requests within applicable legal deadlines and will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If applicable law provides an appeal, you can contact the same address to request review of our response.

Where European or UK data-protection law applies, the legal basis depends on the processing: fulfilling a requested service or contract; legitimate interests in support, security and necessary business administration, balanced against your rights; compliance with legal obligations; or consent where required. You can withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing and may complain to your competent data-protection authority.

NeuraCore is a United States company. Information sent to us or processed through online services may be handled in the United States or other countries used by the relevant providers. On-device processing alone does not send information internationally. Where transfer safeguards are required, the applicable processing arrangements and safeguards must be identified and implemented before the relevant transfer; we do not claim that NeuraCore is certified under a data-transfer framework.

10. Security and children’s information

We apply safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. Local storage protection depends in part on the platform, app implementation and your device settings. No storage system or transmission method is completely secure. This policy does not promise universal end-to-end encryption, biometric protection of every file or a particular security certification.

Our website and support communications are intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through those channels. A Store age rating is not parental consent to online data processing. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use of online voices, connected accounts and sharing features. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to us inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take the action required by applicable law.

11. Changes and contact

The effective date appears above and will be updated when this policy changes. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before applying a new use of information. This policy is a notice of information practices; it does not treat continued use alone as consent to new processing that requires affirmative consent.
